James B. Kennedy attended the University of Kansas from 1924-1930. This collection consists of photographs, biographical information, manuscripts, a 1928 commencement program, and miscellaneous materials.

This collection contains Kristine McCusker's research completed for her thesis entitled "The Forgotten Years' of America's Civil Rights Movement." The research mostly consists of photocopied articles, letters, and papers; also in the collection are letters to and from McCusker and photographs with their negatives.

This collection consists of a 1944 letter from Francis H.C. Stevens to Hermione Archer regarding the death of Archer's father, Wilson Sterling, who was the editor of Quarter-centennial history of the University of Kansas, 1866-1891: With portraits of chancellors.

This collection includes outgoing letters from Margaret Anderson to Gene and Marjorie Courtney. Topics typically discussed include mututal acquaintances and personal events. Letters addressed to Gene Courtney date from 1963-1970 and are organized chronologically by year. The 1966 folder includes newspaper clippings about Margaret Anderson's retirement from the University of Kansas. The folder with letters addressed to Marjorie S. Courtney contain two letters and one postcard.

This collection primarily consists of Margaret Penny's research papers and essays on multiple subjects, several of which are related to World War II, as well as a dance card, commencement booklet, and two student identification cards from her time as a student at the Univeristy of Kansas.

The collection includes essays and personal and professional letters written by Olin Templin, ethics professor, dean, and head of the University of Kansas Endowment Association; as well as letters written to him and memorials after his death.

This collection contains three manuscripts from Richard Dyer MacCann, describing MacCann's thoughts on the decline in the American motion picture industry, his proposals on the values and essential aspects of film, and his life at the University of Kansas as a student.

Robert Watt graduated from the University of Kansas in 1893. This collection consists of a 1963 letter and poem about Old Fraser Hall, which was to be used in a publication celebrating the history of the building before it was razed in 1965.

Taft taught Chemistry at the University of Kansas from 1922-1955, but he spent his leisure time writing histories of KU and publishing books on other subjects, including photography and American artists. This collection consists of materials related to the publishing of one of Taft's KU histories, Across the Years on Mt Oread and its later revision.

Ralph Shuey graduated from the University of Kansas in 1907. This collection consists of Shuey's 1908 Acacia Lodge apron and his 50-year K-Club pin, as well as D.B. Shuey's (Ralph's father) 1895 Santa Fe Route Eating House permit.

William P. Smith taught electrical engineering at the University of Kansas from 1950-1981. This collection contains information about the Campus Energy Program that ran from 1975-1984.

P.D. Olmstead owned and operated a contracting business in Lawrence, Kansas from 1925-1968. He built several buildings on the University of Kansas campus. This collection encompasses his business records, predominantly client and vendor account files filed by individual or business name, as well as architectural drawings and plans related building projects and personal family photographs.

This record group consists of records, photographs, and scrapbooks compiled by University of Kansas Libraries and University Archives staff regarding the faculty and staff at the University of Kansas.

Margaret Thompson Henderson was born in Parsons, Kansas and graduated from the University of Kansas at Lawrence in 1905. Her 91-page scrapbook of news clippings from the early 1900s chronicles notable people, places and events in the history of Kansas, the Lawrence community, and the University of Kansas. Included are published poems, biographies, and obituaries of famous Kansans.

The scrapbooks treat the history of Lawrence and the University of Kansas in general. Some of the clippings are obituaries of local residents, or local current events, e.g, the demonstrations by the Lawrence chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in 1963.

The Stanley Learned Collection includes twenty-six scrapbooks, dating from 1951 to 1968, of photographs, clippings, and other memorabilia which document Learned's leadership and service activities as an executive of the Phillips Petroleum Company of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The collection also contains several works authored by Learned, including his student theses from the University of Kansas, certificates of honors awarded him by the University, and two souvenir medallions.

Historic and architectural surveys of five University of Kansas fraternity and sorority houses, conducted by Lonnie Clark in February 1996 for the Lawrence Kansas Historic Resources Survey.

Brought to Kansas in his early childhood, Clarence Birch became a teacher in Kansas rural schools, Haskell Institute, and the Lawrence public schools. He served as superintendent of the Lawrence Public School System from 1931 to 1939. He later wrote "Toward Education Per Aspera, A Manuscript Autobiography of a Kansas Educator" in 1966.

The Wilburn family collection includes Vicki Wilburn's school yearbooks and papers, work materials, art, and correspondence; as well as some papers from her parents, George and Birdie Mae Wilburn, some famly history papers, and a 1924 photograph of African American Masons in Topeka, Kansas.
