Overview

Sheridan taught Economics at the University of Kansas from 1947-1948 and again from 1952-1988. This collection consists of a 1974 manuscript, Sugar and Slavery: An Economic History of the British West Indies, 1623-1775.

Biography of Richard B. Sheridan (1918-2002)

Sheridan received his B.S. from the Kansas State Teachers College in 1940, his M.S. from KU in 1947, and his Ph.D. from London 1951. He joined the faculty of the Department of Economics at KU in 1947, reaching full Professor status in 1963. He retired in 1988.
