The journal is the author's archives, presumably from when she was located in New York City: collection of carbons and drafts of letters, notes, journals, editorial work, etc. Includes much personal material. The two reel to reel tapes are recordings of Di Prima's poetry, and the "absurd" play was written in the round during the fall or winter of 1959 in pencil in several hands (bookseller indicates the play was by "Diane Di Prima, Freddie Herko, and James Waring").
John Fowler was editor and publisher of the GRIST magazine, published in the 1960s in Lawrence, Kansas. This collection includes manuscript and other draft materials from items published in the magazine, as well as correspondence between Fowler and contributors.
Collection of materials received by Jack E. Lorts from and concerning the poet Larry Eigner. Includes correspondence and poem typescripts from Eigner and two letters from poet Cid Corman. Lorts had undertaken a college paper on Larry Eigner and began corresponding with him as part of that project.

Bound notebook of Manuscript draft verse and other notes. Apparently kept up erratically circa 1968, probably while Diane Di Prima lived in San Francisco. Some loose accompanying material. Volume begins at either end. This description starts with the "Rev notes #4" end; each "page" in the description is a section within the volume.
This collection consists of photocopied newspaper articles primarily from Winfield, Kansas between 1931 to 1938 relating to Ruben Menendez. There are also clippings about the history of different community members and regarding events in which the Kansas Authors Club participated.
This collection originated in the library of Ruth Bloom, a cousin of poet Larry Eigner. The materials relate to the life and work of Eigner, including some correspondence, newspaper clippings, draft poetry, and published poetry and prose.
Robert Grenier (born 1941), an American poet and educator, transcribed these poems of Larry Eigner (1927-1996) in the early 1980s.
