Among the notable portraits in the album are those of John Gould and Charles Darwin.

This is a photostat of page 313 of the census with names beginning with "Squirrel, Amwsy (?)" and ending with "Silverheel, George". Among the persons enumerated are the Luke Sixkiller family, his wife, Emma, and their four children, Mary, Mattie, Lewis, and Myrtle. The Sixkillers of Delaware District were undoubtedly related to Samuel Sixkiller, who was High Sheriff of the Cherokee Nation in 1875 and 1876.
