Hoopes taught rhetoric and English at the University of Kansas from 1914-1947. This collection contains scrapbooks, poetry, clippings, correspondence and a copy of her graduate thesis.

Bibler was a cartoonist for the University Daily Kansan, the student newspaper at the University of Kansas, during the 1940s. This collection consists of several original drawings, numerous reprints, and correspondence regarding the use of his cartoons after his graduation in 1950.
