The Elmer C. Jackson papers are those of a native Kansan and prominent Kansas City, Kansas attorney. Jackson was active in numerous local and national organizations, such as the National Bar Association, the Kansas Board of Regents, and Sigma Pi Phi.
This collection consists of a single unpublished manuscript autobiography written by James T. Jennings, Sr. It catalogues his personal family history, childhood memories, farming exploits, education, and life as a lawyer and later a judge in Kansas City, Missouri. Some scanned copies of photographs are included on the pages as well as handwritten annotations.
Spiral-bound biography of Althea "Polly" Lovitt (nee Owen), as written by her husband Tom. Additional materials include a slideshow of her life on CD and a pdf draft on CD of the same biography with amendments.
