Collection includes annual calendars for various sports teams at Lawrence Free State High School from 1997 to 1999. The City of Lawrence's second high school, the Lawrence Free State High School opened in the fall of 1997 to meet growing educational needs and issues with overcrowding at Lawrence High School. The high school is a member of the Kansas State High School Activites Assoication and now competes in the 6A division.
