Biography
Fourth Baron North, Knight of the Bath, politician and author. Son of Dudley North (1582-1667), Third Baron North, and Frances, daughter of Sir John Brocket[t?], who married in November 1600. In 1632 married Anne (1613-1681), daughter of Sir Charles Montagu[e?] and had 14 children, including Charles (1635-1690),Fifth Baron North and First Lord Grey of Rolleston; Francis (1637-1685), First Baron Guildford, lawyer, judge, privy councilor, and Lord Keeper of the Great Seal; and Roger (1651-1734), barrister, author, and biographer.
