A translator and soldier who may have influenced Shakespeare’s writing. Son of Edward North (circa 1496-1564), First Baron North. Brother to Roger (1531-1600), Second Baron North. Married Elizabeth Rich (née Colville) and their children were Edward and Elizabeth (Bess). Married Judith, daughter of Henry Vesey, and they had no children.
