This collection contains survey data from Kansas county elections. Francis Heller compiled information from the offices of the County Clerk, the County Treasurer, the Register of Deeds, the County Attorney, the Probate Judge, the Sheriff, the Coroner, the Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Clerk of the District Court, and the County Commissioners. Data for these offices, for the most part, ranges from 1924 to 1952 and the survey data and information is contained in this collection.

Francis H. Heller was a professor of Political Science and law at the University of Kansas from 1948 until 2003. This collection includes correspondence about international programs put on by the University of Kansas, various international publications, and letters to colleagues. Also included is a working draft of his book University of Kansas Faces the World.

This record group reflects the records of the Office of Academic Affairs at the University of Kansas. The office now operates as the Office of the Provost, the chief operating officer for the university as a whole.
