Overview

Carroll Clark joined the faculty of the University of Kansas in 1930 and served as head of the sociology department for 29 years before retiring in May 1968. He was a veteran of both World War I and II and he was a jazz enthusiast, conducting a weekly radio program for KANU. Clark's personal papers include war correspondence, general correspondence, research, lectures, childhood diaries, scrapbooks, and course materials.
