Edward McKernan, Jr., was an Emporia, Kansas community leader and President of Bluestem Broadcasting, Inc. This collection consists largely of photographs, scripts, contracts, and audio reels from the KVOE radio station of Emporia, Kansas. Also included in the collection are materials relating more broadly to radio and television broadcasting, as well as various personal papers and photographs belonging to McKernan.
