This collection mostly consists of correspondence between Allan Wicker and his mentor and friend, Roger Barker, who began the field of ecological psychology while working at the University of Kansas.

Overview Roger G. Barker's papers include autobiography drafts and biographical information, as well as professional correspondence dating from the 1980s. Also in the collection are lecture notes and research materials regarding educational psychology, children and adolescents, and ecological and somatopsychology, dating from the 1930s-1960s.
