James Postma (1916-1998) was a Kansas native, attorney, and a leader in the Lawrence, Kansas, community. This collection of his papers consists of materials relating to Postma's involvement in the Lawrence, Kansas Committee for a Better Lawrence and the Kansas Bar Association, including its Awards Committee and Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts (IOLTA) Implementation and Grant Review Committees.
