This collection consists of projects for a University of Kansas course in architecture; the projects pertain to the residences, farmsteads, churches and public buildings in the Lawrence/Douglas County, Kansas area and include building plans, photos, and interviews with past inhabitants.

Dennis Domer, professor of architecture at the University of Kansas, presented a course on the history of Lawrence, Kansas, entitled, Biography of a City: Lawrence. These 15 videotapes of the course were produced by KU's Division of Continuing Education.
