This collection includes Alvin Grauerholz’s correspondence, work with the American Legion, writing drafts, professional work with Septagon Incorporated, personal papers relating to the Grauerholz family, and information regarding the State of Kansas v. Alvin Grauerholz trial in the 1980s.

This collection contains FBI files released under the Freedom of Information Act and the correspondence through which it was obtained. The files pertain to Lawrence, Kansas-based organizations that were affiliated with the New Left and the Students for a Democratic Society.

This collection is comprised of ten manuscript journals kept by William S. Burroughs in the last year of his life, circa November 1996-July 1997, and transcriptions, photocopies, and drafts for Last Words: The Final Journals of William S. Burroughs, edited and with an introduction by James Grauerholz (2000).
