Overview

John Lobb writes to Mr. and Mrs. Thrower, who seem to be away on holiday, from London, England. Lobb thanks the Throwers for the papers and telegram and notes the birth of a baby. Lobb also remarks that he is very busy at the Board's stores with school material and has to do much of his useless brother's work too. He offers that if he were with the Throwers they would have had a drink with the Lord Mayor. The stationery letterhead is printed "Carlton House, Victoria Park Road N.E."
