The personal property, income, and capital stock tax statements are oversize and include documentation for J. B. Watkins (1908-1923), Elizabeth Watkins (1916-1932), and T. C. Green (1917-1939). The series also includes income statements filed by the corporate officers of the J. B. Watkins Land Mortgage Company (1909-1929), the Watkins Land Company (1909-1939), and the Orange Land Company (1914-1925). These statements were filed annually and contain little information because most company businesses that generated taxable profits had been closed out by the turn of the century. These statements are little more than annual reports of filings.
