The Capitol Reports are the short newspaper column statements issued by the governor's office under the above name. They run chronologically from 1976-1978 and cover a wide range of subjects important to the state and governor. They are similar to the Issue and Press Releases files and should be used in conjunction with them.

Each Capitol Report is listed individually, with a complete inventory listing by date in folder 92, in Box 207. Some extra Capitol Reports are also located in the Miscellaneous Publications series (Box 225.2) for 1977. The first file in this box contains some correspondence about proclamations.
