The photographic material consists of several hundred photographs, negatives and slides. They include formal shots of the governor and many less formal shots of the governor at work and campaigning.

Formal photographs of Governor Bennett are filed first. Less formal shots are filed chronologically where possible. Several hundred photos of individuals and groups visiting the governor are filed separately, with their negatives in chronological order. Two albums of photos from the 1975 Republican Governor's Conference in Wichita, and one oversize photo of the Governor, are filed separately in box 298.
