This series contains small number of letters, mostly dating from the 1950s and early 1960s. The educational records consist of information regarding Cox's student years in high school, at the University of Kansas, and at Princeton University. Cox's professional records consist of correspondence regarding his book, Blacks in Topeka Kansas, 1885-1915; a research paper; and teaching/class materials. The personal records consist chiefly of Cox's baby book and various clippings.
