Materials shelved at RH MS 1261
Scope and Contents
Clenece Hills ran for the Kansas House of Representatives in 1994; this series also includes some other information related to her voting. James "Jim" Hills, Clenece's husband, taught at Haskell Indian Nations University and became embroiled in a controversy regarding the publication of the student newspaper at the same time that the then-junior college was going through other administrative difficulties, including the reassignment of its president while he was undergoing investigation of misconduct. Oversize material related to the Friends of Haskell group and the newspaper controversy have been removed to RH MS Q357.
