Letter to Shovell at the Admiralty Office. Captain Wivell of the Kent complains to the Duke of Shrewsbury (Charles Talbot, 1660-1718) that he has not enough ships to blockade Calais and Dunkirk.

[Burchett is the Secretary of the Admiralty; Shovell is at this time in command of the Channel fleet.]
