General
"Ernest E. Baker" may be Ernest Edward Baker, nephew of Halliwell-Phillipps, to whom the latter left the residue of his books in 1889. These specific arms not found in heraldic/ genealogical tools; but swans' necks or escallops figure in the arms of several Bakers.
Unidentified dealer's entry for the printed book (including the letters) pasted at head of leaf.
The frontispiece was also found tipped to the verso. It was removed and kept with the book.
