Quoting alterations to be made in the sixth number of his Irish Melodies (published by Power in 1815). Discussion of text and layout. The few Sacred.
Melodies arrangements that Stevenson has completed.
Addressed to Mr Power, 34 Strand London. No return address; dated in different ink. With date-postmark, and imperfect place-stamp "BOURN 139", which is probably "Ashbourn" (a postal town) with number of miles from London. Mayfield Cottage in the village of Mayfield, Staffordshire was just across the river Dove from Ashbourn[e], Derbyshire, and about 20 miles northwest of Castle Donington. Moore lived there circa 1811-1817.
Apparently published (partially?) in Russell's Memoirs no. 303 (reference Letters to Power page 40).
