Letters to Colles

 File — Folder: Ba

Scope and Contents

First item: Please tell the editor of Boys I did not mean to include book rights in the "world copyright" for the 60,000 word story. I hope to become more profitable to your Syndicate. How many copies of the stories do you require? My two new books. Received January 2, 1893. 3 pages (1 piece). Written from Athy [?].

Second item: Problems with Cassell over "The coming of Cuculainn": copyright and emendations. The Syndicate copy for transatlantic purposes. Chums' ad for "Lost in Du-Corrig"--but the new story will probably not be as popular. Dated August 24 [1893]. 4 pages (1 piece). Written from Mount Eagle, Sandiford, County Dublin.

Third item: Please as a clerk to compare Methuen's account with the royalty agreement. Dated May 9 [1894]. One page. Written from 45 Waterloo Place, Dublin.
