Pages 1-36 contents: "Extracts from unpublished letters of Percy Bysshe Shelley & Harriet Shelley in the possession of Henry J. Slack Esq. Ashdown Cottage, Forest Row Sussex, made the 10th of December 1870. by D.F.M.C." [Now B.M. Add. 37496; published. Includes description of Slack and house. The letters are to Miss Hitchener 1811-1812.]

Pages 37-40: "Extracts from the diary of Charles Duke of Norfolk kindly communicated to me by Philip Henry Howard of Corby Castle...[and from Mr Howard's] mother's diary [for Nov-Dec 1811, during Shelley's visit.]"

Pages 41-52: "The Shelley documents in the possession of the Right Hon Chichester Fortescue M.P." [Description of visit to Carlton Gardens February 25, 1871; transcripts of letters addressed to Francis Freeling about the seditious material Shelley sent Hitchener by William D. Fellowes, post-agent, Holyhead, March 31 & April 1,1812, and by the Earl of Chichester, April 5, 1812.]
