This house was built by Copeland and Ackerman as a two family arrangement. It was sold to Charles Woolcott and then to M.P. Miller, a pioneer grain buyer. M.P. Miller was the grandfather of Groff and Martin Miller of Miller Hardware and Russell Miller of the Russell Record (in 1954). After M.P. Miller the house was owned by C.W. Shaffer, then Helen Shaffer Holland (in 1954).
