The bulk of the papers in this series, located at RH MS 410, date from 1959 to 1975 and include membership correspondence, convention materials, and copies of National Bar Association (NBA) publications. Jackson's National Bar Foundation (NBF) files are also located here, as are NBA and NBF branch programs. Files of other bar associations to which Jackson belonged are organized at the end of this subseries, along with miscellaneous law-related materials and publications.

Materials housed in the addition located at RH MS 760 date from 1958-1999 and are divided into 5 subseries: General Records, Conferences and Symposia, Publications, NBA history monograph, and Bar Organizations. These papers include such items as correspondence, committee and membership information, meeting information, and programs.
