Scope and Contents
Book of autographs begun while Tufts was a student at the New London Institute of New London, New Hampshire. Most of the autographs and inscriptions are dated 1864 from his time in New London, but others are dated as late as 1879, suggesting that some of the autographs were acquired from friends Tufts made while working for various railroad companies as a civil engineer.
Two photographs laid in; the fly sheet states "Freeling Tufts, Litchfield N.H."
