Topical Index to Record Votes, 1965 - 1978

 Sub-Series
Call Number: RH MS 266

Scope and Contents

From the 89th Congress to the 95th Congress, Pearson's Washington, D.C. staff kept a topical index of legislation that came before the Senate. This index includes subjects such as agriculture, crime, foreign aid, labor, etc. A brief synopsis of each bill is given along with the outcome of the vote. It also shows how Pearson voted. The indexes are divided first by the number of the congress, then arranged alphabetically by subject, and last of all they are listed by vote number.
