Scope and Contents

Memoranda and correspondence concerning various train and railway-related issues. Most of the correspondence is outgoing from local engineers and staff around the country to the Chicago offices, but some material also comes from Chicago administration. The correspondence has been arranged chronologically and mostly dates from the 1920s-1940s. Attachments, including blueprints, informational or promotional material about parts, and other related documentation is often included.
