Manuscript submissions are both handwritten and typescript and mostly appear to date from the 1920s and 1930s, though some also appear to be from a later period. The manuscripts include fiction, nonfiction, poetry, portions of one play, and critiques of published books. These materials are mostly in English and sometimes include handwritten corrections, additions, and amendations. The manuscripts have been arranged alphabetically by title; untitled and fragmented pieces are at the end of the series. Authors have been noted where names were provided.
