This series contains letters from constituents with a wide variety of complaints or calls for action. Initially, each letter was apparently numbered as received and filed accordingly, in groups of one hundred. Later, numbers were assigned to specific topics, such as pornography, or cost of living adjustments or international affairs, and letters were added to each numbered folder by topic.
