Call Number: RH MS 1413
History of the Strato-Jets
The Strato-Jets started in 1965 at Forbes Air Base in Topeka, Kansas and were named after the B-47 Stratojet strategic bombers stationed there at the time. In 1973, when the base was decommissioned, the group continued by dancing in new locations, ultimately becoming one of several square dance clubs using Croco Hall in Topeka. Due to declining membership, the club was disbanded in 2010.
