This series includes research files, correspondence, grant proposals, and other documents related to 35 years of teaching and research at the University of Kansas, as well as materials from Russell Mesler's education at the University of Kansas and the University of Michigan. It contains very little personal information, nor much information about Mesler's military service. Some material was re-housed in oversize boxes and folders for preservation and can be found in that series.
