Beach Center on Families and Disability (BCFD), 1980-2009 (bulk 1988-1990s)

The Beach Center on Disability is one of several centers within the Life Span Institute at the University of Kansas, focused on multidisciplinary research and training in order to make a positive and sustainable difference in the quality of life of individuals and their families who have been impacted by disability. It was co-founded in 1988 by Rud and Ann Turnbull.
