The alphabetical files include correspondence, drafts and final products of literary works, event information, news releases, and other material related to writers with whom Denise Low collaborated, for whom she edited, or otherwise knew and interacted with; as well as publishers with whom she worked, including on her own behalf.

This series is organized alphabetically by either correspondent's family name or by the topic with which Low associated a group of people (such as "Book Biz," "Confluence," etc.). This series also includes materials not easily related to specific projects but is more generally related to Low's professional work. Information about some authors and topics represented in this series may appear elsewhere in Low's collection.

There are two sets of alphabetical files due to processing the collection at two different times. Materials that came in the later 2018 additions have been interfiled where possible in the original alphabetical file; if no folder already existed for an individual, organization, or topic, then this information was added to the new call number at MS 363.

Oversize materials--mostly magazines or other publications with works by authors of interest to or friends with Low--have been physically separated due to their size and are described at the end of this series.

Note: "Book biz" was the folder titling used by Low for a variety of material. When a folder labeled this way could be more specifically associated with a topic, it might appear elsewhere in the collection, such as the Professional Activities series.
