Preservation Projects

This series contains building inventories; national register nomination forms; requests for project proposals and proposals; project contracts and reports; preliminary site information questionnaires; photographs; reasearch notes; materials such as newspapers, copies of deeds, and other primary source reference material about buildings; as well as correspondence relating to projects on which Nimz worked as consultant or contractor. Each specific project may have some of these materials, but not necessarily all.

Projects located in Lawrence, Kansas, St. Joseph, Missouri, and at the Smoky Hills Air National Guard Air-to-Ground Gunnery Range have been described in slightly greater detail because Nimz tended to work on projects regarding individual buildings. Other projects tend to focus on neighborhoods or larger areas.

Oversize material has been physically separated from the main collection and is described at the end of this series.
