Topics range from a technical or scientific nature to the national defense program during World War II and bringing wartime production to the Midwest and Kansas City, the future of the Jayhawk Ordnance Works after World... War II, building dedications, and other topics. Speeches were given to local chambers of commerce, Rotary clubs, other civic and social organizations, at award banquets, for student groups at universities, etc. The speeches are for the most part organized chronologically.
