This series consists of ten reel-to-reel recordings made by Judith Eisenstein Bagai, comprising recordings/interviews of science fiction writer Theodore Sturgeon and others. Many of these may have been made for "The Drop Out University of the Air" ("DOU"), the radio show that Bagai (then Eisenstein) created and hosted on radio station KPFK (Los Angeles, CA). Theodore Sturgeon was a frequent guest on that show. Dates of recordings are believed to be 1966-1972, though most of the dates provided with the reels indicate 1967-1968.
