Malin donated James' research materials or his published works to many agencies. These folders contain the descriptions of donations of his historical maps, manuscripts, books and other published work to the Kansas State Historical Society and Baker University, plus a donation of Malin's 1899 Singer sewing machine to Watkins Museum in Lawrence, Kansas.
