Primarily newspaper clippings and maps that were folded or rolled when arriving at Spencer Research Library. They have been unfolded to their full size for access and preservation. Some maps were handdrawn by Hanson. Most interesting of the commercial maps is the map of the Pacific from 1944 without any reference to the war or the Japanese Empire.
