Stern with his wife Hella ran a charity in Germany to help with aid after World War II. He also helped C. R. Voth correspond with potential wives after Anna died. These folders contain letters from Reverend Oscar Stern to C. R. Voth, letters from German women, letters from Waldo O. Voth (C. R.'s son) to Oscar Stern, and letters from Maria Neumann. C. R. Voth wanted to sponsor Neumann's immigration and marry her.
