On a meeting on February 28, 1927 the church assigned 10 members to collect pledges to fund the 1928 remodeling of the church. The 10 assigned were: Peter Graves, S. F. Schmidt, H. S. Voth, "Hainberg (?)," Albert Unruh, "Graderthal (?)," "Hockfeld," Henry Goertz, "Springfield," and William Reimer. C. R. Voth was the chairman of the building board.
