Scope and Contents

These photographs relate to two Native American agencies, the Quapaw and Modoc Methodist Mission, and elections for city and state officials in Guthrie, Oklahoma (then Indian Territory) in 1889. There are photographs and portraits of members of the Quapaw and Osage tribes, and other tribes are represented. Some of the portraits are identified by name. 73 photographs total.
