Scope and Contents
This series contains Irby's own manuscripts and typescripts, often with handwritten revisions, notes, and accompanied with ephemera or reference material.
Folder titles in quotations are from Kenneth Irby's inscriptions on his original folders. Irby often used the abbreviations "MS" for manuscript and "TS" for typescript. Handwritten and typescript items both may have handwritten revisions and notes. Folder titles in brackets are titles assigned to Irby's untitled folders by processors.

Arrangement
Arranged chronologically. Many of the dates provided are approximate unless part of the folder title inscribed by Irby or dated from folder contents. Oversize materials, separated for their preservation, are also organized chronologically and described at the end of the series.
