[Family?] groups

 File — Box: 4, Folder: 20-23

General

Real photo postcards, mounted prints, cabinet cards, and unmounted prints of what appear to be family groupings.

Folder 20 includes a cabinet card of four Native American people (possibly a mother with her children or 4 siblings?), photographer: Brown, Falls City, Nebraska (previously located at RH PH P104.5) and a stereocard of "Home life of Sac and Fox [Native Americans] with sleeping Papoose," at the Sac and Fox Reservation in Oklahoma, copyrighted by Underwood and Underwood (previously located at RH PH P201(s)).

Folder 20a includes three cabinet cards that arrived together at Spencer, all from photographer F.A. Trader of Emporia, Kansas. The three may all include images of a single African American family--one is of two boys, one is of a woman, and one is of a man.

The two mounted prints in folder 21 came together from the dealer, who indicated both were from Garden City, KS; folder 22 has postcards apparently from an extended family reunion (postmarked from Grainfield, KS) and of a small family in front of a sod house, as well as a trio of Crow women (formerly located at RH PH P346.1); folder 23 has a print of what appears to be an older family [siblings?] group.
