Item 4 removed from MS B132:54 [Morton]: ink drawing of apparatus, a noose with a securing device. On flimsy paper, presumably proof of an illustration prepared by a member of the Sowerby family for a periodical article.

Item 5: right-hand edge of letter about "owerby" "ssion" and "dens," perhaps arranging with Sowerby to be admitted to the Royal Botanic Gardens.
