Scope and Contents
In addition to being a poet and journalist, Davis was also an aspiring photographer. This series comprises photographs, taken primarily by Davis in Chicago and Hawaii, of family, friends, landscapes, cityscapes, and events. Also included are studio portraits of Davis and his wife Helen, as well as a scrapbook compiled by Davis during his time at Kansas State University and in Atlanta and Chicago. Oversize materials have been separated into appropriate housing and are listed at the end of the series.
